Where movement meets transformation

Discover the story behind AGNITE and my unique approach to fitness that combines the joy of dance with powerful physical and emotional transformation.

Welcome

I’m Agnieszka, and I’m delighted to share my passion for movement with you. My academic journey has been diverse, yet each degree has contributed to my current work in dance and health. I hold a BCh Phil from the Academy of Pedagogics, an MA in Culture from Varsovia University, and a Nursing Degree in Health and Social Care.

These qualifications have equipped me with a deep understanding of human movement, cultural influences on health, and the practical aspects of healthcare. Beyond my academic and professional life, I have always been passionate about movement and dance.

My Movement Journey

Over 15 years of teaching, learning, and growing.

Beginning in 2008, I trained informally to teach Contact Improvisation Dance (CID), and for several years, I co-ran the CIC for CID in Bristol. I formally trained to be a dance fitness Instructor 12 years ago. I have consistently taught studio and community classes for various charity organisations, including social prescribing-based classes. The pandemic of 2020 put a hold on my public classes. Yet, I continued delivering online classes for a small group of students. I took a short break from teaching when I had my daughter in 2021.

My commitment to personal development is unwavering, and I constantly expand my skill set. Most recently, I have added coaching to my profession. I find great joy in creating spaces for people to experience transformative movement, and it is gratifying when they leave my events and classes feeling joyful.

My current focus is on integrating dance and somatic practices into mainstream healthcare settings, contributing to the growing body of evidence supporting arts in health/dance in health initiatives. In 2025, I completed the Dance in Cancer Care training, furthering my dedication to this field. I am also listed on the MoveGB online gym booking platform.
